Our Rainbow Bridge
Della
Della passed away at the age of 16 years. Della taught me how special all dogs, are especially the little ones, as they can get lost along the way too, for one reason or another. Della we miss you, sometimes I think I catch a glimpse of you running in the garden. You loved life so much. Thank you for the joy you brought into our family, and the happy memories you left with us. God Bless You.

Sierra
Sierra was a quirky, positive little dog who has been with us for 11 years. She came to me when I was pregnant and helped me raise my daughter and help me through some difficult times. She was an agility drop out, loved camping and visiting the barn and loved people. She will be missed and we are blessed to have had her love and dedication. RIP - February 1, 2012
Bonnie

Such a simple little soul
full of comic joy.
A gift gone too soon.

2002?-March 2011
For 4 years this little jewel brought love and joy and laughter too
my life. She is now with her kitty, Comet. She had taken my heart
with her.
Dory
We’ll
love you forever
We’ll like you for always
As long as we’re living
Our Dory you’ll be.
Dory Morrison August 2000 to August 2010.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved
Dory. We will be forever grateful to Julia and Diana of Little Paws
Rescue for affording us the opportunity to adopt Dory. She brought
such joy and happiness everywhere she went always smiling and
wagging tail. Run free like the wind – the wind you always loved
blowing through your coat - you are now free…
Roxie

Fly away, fly away sweet doggie soul
To where your energy is limitless and your body is whole
Your memory will always remain in my heart
I treasure the time you spent with me
Go with my love as you depart.
Lily

Lily passed away on January 16 after a long and well-loved life to join Ava over the Rainbow Bridge. She was a tiny, determined and delightful little character. We miss her digging up her bed every time she went to sleep, growling and barking at the blankets when they failed to please her. We miss you little one!
Snoopy
Bear

We had to say goodbye to Little Bear on Friday, Oct 2nd, 2009. She was only with us just over 2 years, and her sudden sickness and kidney failure came as a complete shock. We sure miss her! Little Bear was a real joy to have as part of our family. She was a complete princess and a comedian. Her unconditional love was so obvious, and we had a lot of fun with her and her antics. By leaving us so soon we all feel a great loss and there is yet another hole in my heart. God Bless you Little Bear, we will meet again and all will be right.

Ava
Ava
came to us from Little Paws very shy and
fearful, but in the 6 years that we had her, she blossomed into a
sweet, loving, playful little soul. We adored her -- she gave us so
much joy. She was excited and interested about everything in her
world, especially playtime with Mom. She passed away in our arms
peacefully at home on August 16, 2009 after a short battle with
cancer. Ava was so very, very
special and is forever in our hearts.

Minnie

Tara
Our
special girl, Tara passed away on March 11, 2009 at 5:00pm. She lived with our
family for 5 years we will miss her dearly. She was a fighter; she battled the
streets of Prince George in the cold winters, and came down to the Little Paws
Rescue Society who found her a forever home with us. She was a special part of our
family. She had an amazing spirit and a gentle soul. Until
we meet again. We'll miss you Tara.
From her family,
The Willmott's
Doolee
The
cat that only yesterday was a kitten is all too soon old and frail
and sleeping in the sun. The young pup of boundless energy wakes up
stiff and lame, the muzzle now grey. Deep down we somehow always
knew that this journey would end. We knew that if we gave our hearts
they would be broken. But give them we must for it is all they ask
in return. When the time comes, and the road curves ahead to a place
we cannot see, we give one final gift and let them run on ahead -
young and whole once more. "Godspeed, good friend," we say, until our
journey comes full circle and our paths cross again.
Louie
Louie
came into our lives with a zest for Life and a big personality.
His history of neglect and abuse didn't diminish his spirit
and Louie had a great and happy life. He
enjoyed walks, except in the rain. He
loved bones even though he had no teeth. He was adoring and followed
Nisia everywhere she went. His sudden departure has left a
hole in our
hearts. We miss you, little Dude!
Les and Nisia
Bobby
Bobby crossed the Rainbow Bridge June 7, 2008. He was such a joy when he was well. He had learned to play and could be such a scamp - his antics gave us many laughs. He had personality plus! We miss him and look forward to the day well all meet again. May God hold him in His lap.
Bless

In memory of our little Peko (Poopsy)

You were in our arms when you came to us.
You were in our arms when you had to leave us.
And in between we had two years of such love and happiness with you.
We loved you then and we love you now and always.
You are locked in our hearts forever sweetheart.
Barb and Karl.

Lucky
Lucky passed away May 16th, 2007
at age 17 years. Lucky's joy of life was constant, set backs for him
were measured in split seconds. His run always seemed a little out
of control , his tail held high wildly waving. I often see him like
that and thru tears have to smile.
Chrissy
Chrissy pass away on June
23th. 2007. We miss her every day and remember how she felt cuddled in
our arms. She could not settle down in her bed till I gave her a back
rub and talked to her. All the little things about her, brings tears
to our eyes. She couldn't see our faces because of cataracts and she
didn't hear too well but we believe
she knew she was loved very much.
Thank you for introducing her to us Julia.

Obie

Dear Julia:
I am sad to report that
our little "Monty" passed away quietly early this morning.
Monty was diagnosed with Cushing Disease over a year ago and
had bravely lived with its debilitating effects.
Monty recently developed congestive heart failure and his heart
medications were not able to do the job we had wished for.
Our Monty was a Loving
and Happy dog. Monty lived to eat and loved
to sleep & poop. We shall miss our little
Monty. We Thank You and Little Paws Rescue Society for allowing us the
opportunity to get to know & love Monty over these few short years.
Love,
Randall Didiuk & Joanie Von Shribar.

Amy-Angel
Amy-Angel went to Rainbow
Bridge on 7/2/05. There are no words that can describe how we feel - you
had to have met her - she was so tiny - but
somehow she radiated something that made everyone notice - I kept trying
to capture a bit of her grace and classiness - that haunting,
other-worldly expression in her eyes in my pictures - and that beautiful
loving smile that she had - and her wonderful disposition - always,
everything she did was trying to please and be helpful....I always
called her my "borrowed angel". Elke, Donn,
Mickey, Mindy and especially Lexy (Camilla) ...who really misses
Amy-Angel.
Bijou(Aunt
Bea) & Mango
In loving memory of Bijou and Mango who had been through a lot together and now they rest in peace. Thank you Irene for offering these two girls a wonderful home.

Coco
Coco, my wonderful Poodle.
A friend and companion to the end.
You now rest in peace
by two lovely trees.
I miss you Coco.
from your Mum, Doreen
Dorian
Today our gentle giant Dorian was sent peacefully across the Rainbow Bridge. Dorian achieved the great age of 11 years and 3 months which was the equivalent of approximately 120 human years. Given that the average life span of a Great Dane is about 7-8 years, we were blessed with the extra time with him. Dorian taught me much about patience, tolerance, the need for creative solutions (a can with pennies as a bark stopper). He gave love unconditionally and was ever so gentle to all the little dogs constantly around him. He would even yield his dinner bowl to my Pomeranian Lightning if we didn't intervene on his behalf. His favorite toys were stuffed animals and squeaky toys. Just before he was given his final medication he was happily squeezing a new rubber toy from the pet shop next door. As the sedatives took hold his squeezes became softer and softer until he was very gently holding the toy in his mouth while he fell asleep. Robert cuddled up to Dorian as we said goodbye and Dorian was very aware of Robert's nearness and love as he quietly left us. Dorian was a gift to us, a very special creature and we were privileged to have had him in our lives. He will never be forgotten or replaced in our hearts. Willy Martin
Foxy
Foxy will be very much
missed by Cathy and Ebb.
-In the few short years Foxy was with Cathy and Ebb he found LOVE and
companionship. he will be very sadley missed, but he leaves wonderfull
memories, We thank you for your kind rememberance of our dear Foxy.
He was so loved and we miss him terribly. Our home seems so empty
without the dear little fellow. We have these little animals for such
a short time, but I take comfort in the fact that Fox had three and a
half years of exceptional life. He travelled through the US and
Mexico, never missed a dinner party, was admired by all he met, and
best of all he gave us unconditional love. Thank you for all the good
work you do for the many little ones that come into your care.
Fraser
Fraser was only in Littlepaws Rescue for a short time. I would like to believe that he was waiting for us to find him and make him comfortable in a warm home with LOVE where he could finaly find Peace. I would like to thank Angie and Mark also Elke and Don for giving Fraser that LOVE and Peace in his final days of life. Julia. March 7/05
Teddy
This is Teddy. She was
found as a stray, someone left her to wander the streets. She had been
used for breeding purposes only. Teddy was about ten years old and not
spayed,
she also had cancer. Following surgery, she was placed in a loving
foster home where she stayed until it was time for her to say goodbye.
Teddy had a hard life, without love of any kind, Her last four months
of life however, were full of love and lots of cuddles and a warm bed.
